This is my favourite topic

It's terribly organized. NEWS announcements peppered on numerous pages apart from each other for one.

Keep it simple:

Stickies at the top of page 1 only
NEWS announcement on page 1 only, right below all the stickies.
All the green posts always below and NEVER above the NEWS or Stickie posts. Ever.

Posts are getting lost the way it is now. Who are your forum designers? They need help.

The blue NEWS and orange Stickie threads should take precedence over green user generated threads.

So please developers, fix the chaos already.

for a minute i thought it was gonna be an average wednesday forum post about (for whatever reason) segregating the forum (again)... glad its not.
though... I thinkt he stickies are only at the top of page one (at 50 per apge at least), and I see the need to keep recent news at the top, but its usually near there anyway.
surely GOG getting back the subforums automatically added for new games owned under the "community" tab would be a better idea to begin with?!

Edit: and adding [HOT TOPIC] yourself, thankfully does not make it one.

A Sachys said, official news are normally near the top anyway so I do not see a need for this. What I do see a need for is a better search feature. Despite the site redesign we still have the same useless search function.

1- It should search and display result from the latest posts to the oldest.
2- It should permit searching posts from a specific user.

No it does not make it one but sensationalism seems to get peoples attention on the forum tree. And it sparked a discussion hopefully to get something done.

Something like the starcitizenbase,com forum organization tree would work for GOG. It's simple, things don't get lost.
