I grabbed a Witcher key off a thread but can't find it to thank the gifter! Can anyone tell me if it's possible to see who gifted it to me?

If the member sent you a PM with the code, then check your PMs. Was it a thread you participated in? If so then you can find the thread pretty easily and look through. Other than that... not sure.

You don't need to have saved it. Go to your games and look under gifts, it should give you a list of everything received and given. It may not tell you from whom but it will give you the key.

It doesn't have a list of received gifts (anymore?). And redeemed games are displayed as "purchased" in the library. The place to find the code is the email inbox ("this is your redeemed gift summary"). It doesn't say who bought it, though.

Yeah you're right, just redeemed. I don't have an email account so I wouldn't know about that other option.

I really wish I could see who gifted me what in the gifts tab. :(
