It's my favourite guy! While the 'liberal character' is obviously spewing nonsense (because that's the point of the video), the supposedly 'level headed conservative guy' is spewing complete nonsense as well, meaning that the point of the video is lost. It's just two people saying things that don't make any sense.

I've also seen quite a few of these "I'm not saying they are all bad, I'm just trying to start a dialogue about the problems they cause blaa blaa blaa" arguments before.

In a way, I feel an "immigration-critical" person saying something like:

"I'm not saying all muslims are terrorists, but all terrorists are muslims."

is a bit like some die-hard feminist saying:

"I'm not saying all men are rapists, but all rapists are men!"

To which all I could probably say is "That may well be the case (or not), but what's your point? Should something be done about it, and if so, what exactly?"

If the person has no sound solutions to the "problem", then I guess he/she just wants to spread fear and hatred towards that certain group of people, be it muslims/immigrants, or men.

Apparently the whole point of that anti-liberal video was to 'prove' how liberals allegedly have absolutely no good arguments against things that a conservative might say, for example about immigrants or muslims. Which is complete rubbish, of course.

I have to say I missed you JCD-Bionicman. We should probably bear in mind that JCD-Bionicman is a troll... he managed to turn a thread about Hitman into a thread about homosexuality, claiming Hollywood had 'gayed up' the most recent Hitman game. While it looks pretty awful, I don't think it has anything to do with anyone's sexuality. Not only is it rubbish, but 'facts' the conservative guy had weren't worth a real argument anyway.

Maybe, but unless Bionicman was the creator of that Youtube-video, in this case I consider him only as a messenger. So for now I don't feel I am arguing with him, unless he starts arguing with my points. :)

Good idea for the forthcoming US presidential TV-debates though: the candidates will not argue head-to-head, but both will have their own TV-debates with an actor who is only acting as their opposition, trying to make the opposition look bad. :) The undeniable fact is that that "all" rapists are men. Whether that fact should be a big cause for concern or further action, I'm unsure. :)

exactly for all we know he is but I doubt it because this guy seems to want to get -100 rep so I think he is just a troll geting attention, flux on the other hand felt like the real deal to me
