What up, i've started this talk beacause to find an answer to my problem, why can't i get de gog downloader, i have downloaded it like 4 times and every time i open the installer it says "can't open this file" and the it says an error, i don't know what to do without it i can't get my games

You can download your games without the downloader through your browser by clicking the game on your shelf, turn "GOG.com Downloader mode" off and then clicking the download link.

You can also try a different web browser.

In case it's a problem with GOG servers being unable to deliver the file, I do have the downloader mirrored here. Just double check that the digital signature is correct before installing it.

With large numbers of sales, it is possible the servers can't keep to the demand until the bandwidth/requests drop down to something more normal.

Curiously a torrent based downloader might not have this issue as the data is more distributed, assuming you're willing to upload a portion of what you downloaded...
