I havent played it yet because Im not interested in nextgen shooters and I never really got into the whole BF thing but I might pick it up on Steam for like 5 pounds in a decades time if I deem it to be worth it then my brother has it though and he played quite a bit of it when it first came out I saw him play a couple of times and he said its fun but he hasnt been back since. also watched a couple of youtube videos but seems like a rather forgettable experience for me not enough going on not enough thought going into each action

Well it could probably come to Steam once the Complete Edition comes out like how they did with Crysis 2 but I doubt because

A: EA still want Orgin to sell

B: Battlefield 4's release which everyone is afraid that EA will shut down the servers for Battlefield 3 even though they have not done that for Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 2 so I doubt it but people think that because of their treatment with Madden

Battlefield 3 is a glorified turd.
They turned what was a pretty fun campaign with interesting characters and semi-open gun fights into a linear COD shitfest, complete with unnecessary and stupid sounding profanity.
They turned what was a very open multiplayer mode focused on destruction of buildings used for cover into a sort of, COD if it had vehicles and decent sized maps.

With multiplayer, there is little incentive for teamwork. Everbody just wants to gain fucking levels. I have a few theories as to why this is, but I really am not sure.

Played the Multiplayer now let me say one thing

this game practically requires teamwork and so far no one booted me in the rented servers

Campaign I agree but Multiplayer is a different beast entirely honestly this game is amazing oh the lighting does not blind you the physics and enviornments just incredible being right next to an exploding tank was intense

You haven't played it then. BF has nothing to do with COD. BF3 does feel a loke like BF2. And it's still open, if you play on the classic mode, and it supports 64 players. Just like ther other BF games. I do agree on the campaign, though. They really tried to mimic COD with the campaign.

You should hear the school children when they compare this game. Trust me, JCD isn't even the worst of the 'haters.' You were probably in the new desert levels because that sounds like the expansion pack U get from premium. FYI the dropship can be destroyed. :D
