OK,I'm rethinking about giving up, mostly because of CDProjekt Red and GOG. I mean,the business practices are neat and gamer friendly and the community here at GOG is nice and all but, I would like to point out that I'll continue to support consoles because I grew up on them and the game that made me a gamer was Shadow of the Colossus for the PS2.
But that doesn't mean that I'll stop supporting GOG or,PC gaming in general. I just want to you guys to understand that I don't want this fracture in gaming about "which plataform is the best", all I want is play on the plataform that best servs you. Basically, instead of the"Master Race" or "Console Commanders" we just play where we like and don't gloat or make fun of the other.

Hmm, I love PC gaming for all its advantages not because it has a uniform community that's better or worse than any other. So either you appreciate PC gaming for its inherent worth and will stick to it, or you don't, in which you don't have any reason to stick to it.

The real solution is to play on both. There are good console games not on PC. There are good PC games not on console. There are games where the superior version is PC. There are games where the superior version is console.

That's like saying you wish there was peace in the middle east and that you'll deprive yourself of pizza until that happens. Just play and don't worry about what other people are into or are acting like. :)

I'm probavly too late for this discussion, but.. "giving up pc gaming" due to some people on the web bashing consoles is just.. silly, sorry. Play what you like, just avoid those kind of topics.

p.s: for me pc is indeed way better, but if you prefer consoles, good for you.

Don't give up! Never surrender! Down with the heretics...erm, ok maybe not that last bit, but just remember that no matter where you go you'll find supremacists and elitists. I think back to some of the people on open mic while playing multiplayer shooter on Resident Evil 5 on PS3. They were...very colorful to say the least, especially when they lose :)
