As for Trapped Dead, was it just the admin expressing a personal opinion about the game? Or was it someone involved in the actual business back-end, dealing with developers?

Basically what happened was I was guessing what the next featured game would be on IGS a while back (sometime last year). I guessed that it would be Trapped Dead, because the hints were leaning toward it and it was in their image assets. The IGS admin responded with "I said I wouldn't confirm/deny but I have to shoot down Trapped Dead - that game is just bad."

At this point, most of the stuff that was in their image assets has been featured as a deal. If it hasn't been ran yet, I'd say it's not really 100% confirmation that it'll be a deal anymore. It probably would've been scheduled as a deal a long time ago.

Unless I'm mistaken, it's free anyway. Obviously, one can purchase the bundle as a form of donation, but it's free on the game's site.

Apparently Tropical Heat Jetski Racing has DRM added to it.. saw someone say it has a 3 activation limit on another forum.

I believe its only free for so long and I would like it on desura since its easier to keep updated and track of it. I have played it though and its a solid game.

The original LogiGun was a great freeware puzzler. Wouldn't mind paying some money for an extended version. But what the hell happened to the charming cartoon graphics it originally had?

That is retarded for that type of game to have drm and activation limits.....

Tropical Heat now has a windows down loader.
I was about to write to ask if they could get a individual installer, and checked before writing to see they now had one. So I instantly downloaded.
Seems strange but the idea of the game sold the bundle to me.

That's good.. now to convince them to remove the DRM ;)

I kind of regret buying this IR.

Bad news about the jet ski game. The dev got a lot of negative comments on the game's Desura page about the DRM.. so now he's decided to remove the game from Desura after the current IR bundle is finished.. Direct quote:

"I'm truly surprised by how much of a reaction there has been to the DRM on this game. I guess people just really expect a DRM free game from Desura. This is our first game released to the general gaming community, but we have been making software for 8 years, all DRM controlled. In fact, its hard for me to think of any software that you purchase that doesn't come with an activation key. Almost all commercial software requires activation. People keep complaining that we are treating our customers like pirates, whereas in my opinion having an activation key / serial number is just standard practice. Unfortunately due to this negative backlash, with almost all recent reviews simply reviewing the game 1 / 10 solely due to not being able to install it more than 3 times for the $0.70 paid for the game, we plan on removing it from Desura after the bundle is finished.
