The movie or the TV series? I personally liked Bebop more than both GitS TV and movies. In any case, Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo are somewhat similar to GitS SAC in the sense that most episodes are independent from each, with the main arc being developed mostly in the background throught the series.

But if you want to compare them to the GitS movie, it's kind of tough since the movie has this certain artistic feel. CB and SC are pretty entertaining and more than competent in technical terms. But thought-provoking, as many would call GitS? Nah.

I don't think it's really comparable, CB is ... Well, it's pretty unique in what it does.

Bebop is awesome. If you haven't seen it yet, you're not an anime movies/series fan.

I watched it, movie is superior to the whole series.
