Good call! I totally forgot about that game. I think it PC first but I played the Sega Genesis port.

don't get me wrong, I've spent many, many, many happy hours playing Dune II and I loved it, but nowadays it's just killing me not being able to use right mouse button to order units to move/attack (this was changed with Warcraft II if I remember correctly).

the Dune's system "click the unit", "click MOVE", "click second unit", "click MOVE", oh, they're attacking! "click the unit", "click ATTACK"........ not very user friendly :)

but you're right, it was one of the founders and everyone should at least play it for a couple of hours to feel the ancient history...
