While Ventura was a pro wrestler and an actor, he also was a Navy Seal, a mayor and the governor of Minnesota. He's not a joke candidate and I really think he could connect with the American people to give Republicans and Democrats a run for their money in 2016.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Who cares what he looks like if he does a good job?

The American People.
I'd vote for him solely on the grounds that he's a Pet Detective
Interesting man. Thx Barry.

Hey, it's Riff Raff!

But seriously. I've always thought a big problem with this country is the self-limiting two-party system. Everybody knows when you've got two people going head-to-head on something on such a fundamental level, nothing is going to get accomplished - and the proof is in the state of our country today.

I just don't understand why we allow it to be "this or that, with no middle ground." Any independent political person really can't get a break despite how many good ideas they may have. The political system serves those who are in it and they want to keep it that way.

I think one qualifier for president should be military service. Hell, I think most people could benefit from serving at least a few years once out of high school. But what do we have instead? "I'm rich, therefore I will try to buy my way into the White House to make sure I and my friends stay rich." It's nothing more than a game to them. Talk about "living off the government", that's exactly what they do.
Ah yes, let's all vote for this "Everything is a conspiracy!" nut job. That will be just the ticket to pulling America back to the front of the line.

He's running for office, or pretending that he will, because he's a buffoon with a constant craving for attention. The next time you're making a sandwich, you're constructing something more intelligent and capable of running a country than Jesse Ventura ever will be.
Richard Belzer, what the fuck are you doing with that lunatic, I thought you were smart!
so much for "no flippant comments"...
I liked him in the film The Running Man.
