Oh my poor wee head. I haven't played a game for that long in quite some time.

Great game, shitty ending! :D

Oh come on, the joke at the end was hilarious.

I myself never beat Beyond Divinity because the game just got so bad I couldn't continue.
I have clocked over 20 hours on it so far and have completely uncovered the starting map, the town to the North of the start map and about half the sewers.

This game is absolutely HUGE!!!!

Current playthrough was 40 hours but I hit an end game bug on my first playthrough which was about 20 hours... so in total about 60 hours haha.

It will take a while to uncover the whole thing.

yeah I thought the ending part was way weaker than the rest of the game (which was really cool)

Yeah, they rushed that ending, the entire final part actually. Says in the Developer's Journal for the series that they simply didn't have the time for it and should have realized that the Wastelands should have been removed from the game from the beginning, but in the end it was there and they threw together a barren place with some enemies and that was that.
Now play Divinity 2: DKS, also a nice rpg.
I didn't enjoy Beyond but the ending is pretty cool and related to the overall plot.

Dragon Knight Saga is excellent, love the fact they done it as a 3rd person ARPG, works really well. I was hours into it and lost my save and haven't restarted it yet.

I know what you mean.... The game as a whole is amazing, but that last little bit is a mission and feels like it'll never end.

Especially if you keep hoping that somewhere on this huge map there will be something of interest if you only search hard enough, instead of just rushing through to the end. :D

That would certainly explain a bit. I kept expecting something to happen in that section.
