Out of all the games you list, I think it resembles Div Div the most, its not hack n slash like Diablo, the combat is just fun and varied, also the faction quests would be in a similar vein to some of the Div Div stuff.
I really liked KoA, I logged 200+ hours in it, the combat is really good fun with many classes and hybrid combinations. Even the DLC is quite good and well written, it is a world with a very deep lore, also well written.
Each area has hidden stones, that when activated, elaborate on a story connected with that area.
There are also Factions that you can do quests for and those quests are quite well done too.
The main story isn't War and peace by any means, but it more than suffices, to hang a really fun game upon.
It has crafting, but as it's Slavage System is a bit random, it may take a few successive reloads to get the perfect equipment result, but you will get great gear with a modicum of patience.
The GFX are like a cross between WoW and Fable, I like them, YMMV.
You can respec your character at will for a modest fee.
The bad. Combat is easy ....BUT is is FUN. eg. Use your Rogue (Finesse) skills to lay traps, then nuke the enemies held in the traps wit your sorc skills, or pepper them with volleys of arrows.
The XP rewards are not well judged, you will hit level cap long before you reach the end of the game. even without the DLC.
I would suggest play the main storyline first or last and just do the faction/DLC stuff as a seperate playthrough.
I played it on PC at release and subsequently bought a copy for my 360 for €20, to play it from the couch on a big screen TV, I think its 20 bucks well spent, if you decide to get it.
