I love indie games I just do don't know why, but anyway I am looking for a cheap indie game to play I only have a few bucks so can't spend to much.

Just wanted to get any suggestions for Rogue-Like, Platformer or other good types
TowerClimb for $5~? It's a platformer with roguelike elements, and is damn fun. It's technically in beta but is still very playable.

Seems interesting, may try it out when I get $5

Yeah, it's definitely worth it. Off the top of my head I can't think of any that are cheaper than that though, sorry.
Free indies:
Dwarf Fortress: One of the most impressive games ever. A super complex dwarf fortress building simulator (plus it has an adventure mode as well, but the fort building is, in my opinion, the best part).

Frogatto & Friends A cute and very good 2d platformer

Battle for Wesnoth A solid turnbased strategy game, with a lot of fan-made content.

As for cheap, have you checked out Indie fort? You get to pick & chose games to build your own bundle, and there are plenty of good ones in there.
What about VVVVVV? Don't let the graphics fool you. It's one of the best indie platformers ever made.

You need to play Spelunky. It's both a rogue-like and a platformer wrapped into one:

For a more traditional rogue-like, try Desktop Dungeons:

For a more traditional platformer, try Cave Story
http://www.cavestory.org/

All 3 of these games are free and better than a lot of indie titles you would pay for.
Time for me to blag Tiggit again? Yes, I think it is:

Desktop dungeons seems awesome, I just don't have the $10 to get it :\
(I also understand Alpha is free but I would rather buy it to get the full game but may try it as a demo)

Desktop Dungeons full and alpha versions are very different. I bought the full version, but I think I prefer the alpha. Last I checked the full version is being updated about weekly and they're still working a few kinks out of it. I'll come back to it in a few months. But do try the alpha version, it's great.
You can check out Desura and Indievania's libraries, they have quite a few free games, and many very cheap ones. Be careful if you choose to buy a game, do some research first, because many are garbage or are no longer updated.

Indie Kings also has a great list of freeware games:

How much is a few bucks?

If you like challenging platformers, maybe Project Black Sun ($1.99) would be up your alley? I haven't played it myself yet. Also, Climb to the Top of the Castle is free (or PWYW).

Home, an indie-horror adventure / experiment in story-telling is $2, too. Some people enjoyed it a lot apparantly (I didn't).

If you like Arkanoid / Breakout, I can recommend Wizorb ($2.99).

Blocks That Matter is a great puzzle platformer available for $4.99.

If that's still in your price range, there are also two rogue-likes for the same price, Cardinal Quest and Dungeons of Dredmor. As for best value for money, I'd recommend Dredmor over Cardinal Quest, the latter is short, more casual and without save function.

And like the others say, you can always get a lot of good games for free. Here's a neat list for browsing!

Tried Dredmor once but couldn't really get into it but I may try again.

But Project Black Sun looks pretty awesome, any idea on how the the game is?

There's a demo here:

It's a pretty difficult game.
I forgot to mention , [url=http://www.desura.com/games/soulcaster-ii]Soulcaster 2 (both $2.99 each) and Escape Goat ($4.99).

Oh, and you could always try your luck here and maybe win one indie game for free (but only if it isn't on my own wishlist, be smart and analyze my posts here and you might get a hint ;) ).

And of course there are several bundles live right now that would get you more than one indie game for a few bucks (e.g. GamersGate's Indiefort Championship, Indie Royale, Bundle in A Box, Groupees' Build Your Own Bundle, Indie Gala etc.)
