Mass Effect has been part of the single player F2P experiment EA has been running for quite some time now (See also DA 2).

DLCs are a great way to enhance profit (like the expansion packs of old) as most of the assets can be reused. With Bioware you can get points at least four times a year 50% off, effectively half the price for those games.

I bought every DLC so far when it came out and it was well worth the price. Heck, considering those DLCs are roughly the price of an indie I fared way better with Mass Effect DLCs than with yet another retro platformer.

WBGhiro: 60€ is hardly free ;D

Seriously, you could get ME1 and 2 for basically pocket change in various sales and mass efect 3 has been around for half a year.

What would any normal person pay 60 for if not to get all the DLC, which usually never goes on sale. getting this trylogy is a waste of money. since you can probably get all those games for a fraction of the price this winter's holiday sale.
Well, then just do not buy it. You do not have to buy any game. Neither are you entitled to cheap game or cheap DLCs.

Uh, yeah; that's what I was going to do, since I stopped playing mass effect after the second one came out.

Also if I spend 60 on a complete bundled version, I kinda do feel "entitled" on getting the DLC and the base games for cheaper than usual. EA can do what they want, I don't really care, but from my point of view this bundle is neither very useful for gamers nor EA.

By the way,the shadow DLC is NEEDED to fully understand Mass Effect 3 initial part of the game.
Ok for Mass Effect 3 DLC (but they can at least insert the free multiplayer DLC on disc if they want),but they MUST insert ALL the ME2 DLC.
The game can be bought for 20 euro on PS3 with all DLC except Arrival.

I have only Mass Effect 1 on PC bought for 5 euro, and base Mass Effect 2 bought for 5 euro on Origin (no disc).
A friend of mine give me ME3 for PS3,but I can't play multiplayer part at all due to online pass, and I miss a lot of things because I haven't save from ME2.

EA wants money, they don't care about consumers. So I will not buy any of their games (there aren't any I'm interested for,by the way).
The official announcement from BioWare forums:
What DLC is included in the Mass Effect Trilogy?

On PC, Mass Effect will include Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station on disk. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included which features Zaeed – The Price of Revenge, The Firewalker Pack, Cerberus Assault Gear, Arc Projector heavy weapon, and Normandy Crash site mission. For Mass Effect 3, Online Pass will be included granting players access to co-op multiplayer.

On Xbox 360, Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station are not included with Mass Effect, however they are available as stand-alone downloads through Xbox LIVE. For Mass Effect 2, Cerberus Network will be included and Online Pass will be included for Mass Effect 3.

Information on PlayStation 3 DLC will be available soon.

So it's worthless as an archival copy then, which really should be the only point of the release. Way to go.
I'm not getting it myself. I feel that BioWare will release another bundle with all the DLCs, maybe three or five years down the road, probably even when the next Mass Effect game is released as a way to promote the new game. People should not expect cheap bundle and DLCs from EA unless the games are very old. EA games and DLCs have always tend to be pricey.

I linked it in the first post of this topic.
The DLC included are simply the Cerberus Network content, nothing more. They were into the PC and console copy too.
