Anyone here pre-purchased this game? I am thinking about getting it but I watched some videos and I didn't love the animations and character models. I know it is early to talk about animations but I hope they will make them cooler. If you pre-purcahsed the game you can try the engine test and join alpha and beta stages. So anyone is pre-purchased it and how is the engine test? It will be a Steam game BTW.
I really love the first Natural Selection and waiting for this too.

That thing is still in development? Hasn't it already been on pre-order for about a year or more now?
Yep, reason I didn't buy it yet. It's been in limbo about as long as StickRPG2 and HL3.
They created their own engine because of that game is still in development (also they are a smail team). For me Source Engine would be good but this engine is good too except the animations.

They've been talking about their engine for almost as long though. They shouldn't be taking pre-orders if the game is still so far from completion. It's dishonest and amateurish, however much they might need the money.
It's a shame you brought this up just when the Humble Indie Bundle rocked the indie scene. But yes, I suppose there's no sense in harbouring false impressions.
Yes, on top of beta access of normal $20 version the $40 version allows you Alpha access when it comes out! That makes me stay the ---- away with common sense.
I'm a bit afraid of the time they are taking to finish it, so I'll let the real NS fans pre-order it. :p
I'll get it probably on a deal for 50% off, and the same for the recently released Iron Grip.
I got it - I consider it a donation for how awesome the first Natural Selection game was. The alpha isn't much. It's mainly just to show how you can wander around the levels. The graphics are pretty nice, but the gun sounds need work.
TBQH, that's about all there is to say about the game at this point.
