Most squad-level tactics games are pretty serious, encouraging you to think fast and not get your men killed. Police Quest: SWAT 1 and 2 make all of them seem casual.

Police Quest: SWAT 1 is an interactive cinematic adventure and SWAT 2 is an isometric-view real-time tactics game. Initially released as part of the Police Quest series, SWAT eventually spawned a spin-off series of its own. Both games are very focused on following proper procedure - you can't just waltz in, shoot everything that moves and then sort out who's who. Even failing to call for the suspect to surrender before arresting him will look bad to the public and in your files. A Police officer's job is a tough one so don't expect these games to cut you any slack.
On the other hand, SWAT 2 lets you play on the other side - as the leader of a radical left-wing terrorist group. Don't think this means you can do whatever you want, though.
Now put your serious face on and discover how real a game can be.

Seeing how these aren't actually 'good' games, I'll wait a bit but I'll get them someday to complete the collection.
And SWAT 3 and 4 would be awesome additions, those games are LAN party classics.

Kind of interested in 1, but not 2. Too bad they're bundled.
Just before I was about to break out the wallet for another PQ collection, GOG goes and does this.

Instabuy. Now go get SWAT 3 and SWAT 4!
Thanks but no thanks not my cup of tea.
Thank you!

StingingVelvet: Hmmm... neat. I never actually played any of the SWAT games. Not gonna buy these immediately but I will grab them when the mood strikes me.

Now give me my Zork Nemesis!
Couldn't agree more!

It seems we could have our tea together, Aluinie.
Glad to see another release.

I never played SWAT 1 or 2, but I did own SWAT 3. That was a great game, and I would love to see it here eventually!

Roman5: you can edit my posts all you want but I still saw it

this is Gfsdgfjsdsgfdhsjgdh all over again :p
What did you see?

I hate censorship.
I remember I borrowed SWAT1 from a friend back in middle school and never really ended up getting very far in it, so I don't even truly know what type of game it is. :P I remember not wanting to watch the briefing videos and just get to the game. Ahhh childhood impatience.

I'm definitely hoping for SWAT3 on here though. I have a ton of good memories with that game. A digital copy certainly wouldn't hurt as I have no idea where my disc copy is.
