According to the metal and not so metal news site Blabbermouth, Slipknot's co-founder and bassist was found dead in a hotel room in Urbandale, Iowa. No evidence of faul play.
Fate took another rocker from this world.

Agree on all 3 there. Sad, but Slipknot is horrible. Shows what happens when good things become popular. They cater to their 14-17 year old audience and kill off all old fans. I was never a fan however :P

I'll agree there, though I have been a fan. New stuff makes it hard...same with Stone Sour.
Drugs are...unfortunate.
