Am I the only one who is finding difficult to preserve the games of Old, I ask you?

In these most difficult times, where a game is not cool unless it features ub3r 133t HD graphics OR extreme bloodshed-ing gameplay OR is overhyped?

I'm finding out modern gamers are not-so-inclined to think good about Good Old (Or indie) Games.
I'm not going to criticize them for playing that MW2 or Halo 3 piece of crap game.
So where's the problem, would you hereby ask?
I think it's the old Nintendo hate thingie all over again. The problem, that's.
Can't i just play Kirby's DreamLand 3 while you finish GTA4?
Why, I ask, would you criticize me for playing Link's Awakening DX while you're playing a LoZ rip-off in your shining new Android?

Sure, you may argue Rayman 2 and MDK2 look childish. I may even see your point.
But, please. Don't insult them, expecially while you're playing ph4t cool action game.
I don't mean it's bad. Just, don't naturally assume it's better than any game released in the last 20 years.
Also, don't dare to laugh at people who's paying 5$ for an actually fun FPS, like Duke Nukem 3D, expecially when you're buying that cool thing for 50$.
I mean, come on. CoD2 was great, CoD 4 was good.
But i just don't see the difference in the new episodes, except for the audience. And the XBox Live kids' chat.
The same counts for the 90% of modern FPS/GTA clones.

And you? What do you think?
What's your opinion about the relationship between new gamers and old games?

P.S.: Sorry for my english..
Games don't have feelings.

Most new games really do have better art and graphics than retro ones.

We tend to only remember the great games of yesterday and forget the more representative uninspired me too garbage.
