Just wondering if 3 is the limit for the "Genre" of each game. Fallout, for instance, has RPG, Turn-Based, and Sci-Fi. Most games I've seen on here list exactly 3 Genres to describe each of them.
The reason I ask is because I really like turn-based combat games like Fallout and Might & Magic, so I'm wondering if its possible there are more turn-based games on here other than those listed as "Genre: Turn-Based" (maybe Turn-Based would have been a 4th choice, for instance, if Genre is indeed limited to 3 traits).
Thank you in advance.
I think the genre idea is actually divided like this:
Genre: genre / characteristic game-play mechanic / setting .
Not based on any official statement though, just observation/deduction.

Not always (Cap Plus, for instance, is simulation-strategy-managerial), but it's always 3 definitions.
However, having checked some other games, it seems to fit for them. So it's probably not a rule of thumb, but present many times.

Lol at Duke Nukem MP having the "adventure" label.

I'd replace that with STRIPPERS.
