Gets boring after about an hour.

Delixe: I was under the impression The Witcher 2 was also destined for consoles?

They thought of it, but their focus is the PC now. Not that I care if there's a console version of it. lol. I'm PC for sure.

Aliasalpha: Not the point, the fact that an entire continent has been excluded because its inconvenient for them is a nasty precedent. Fortunately its also stupid and very few others will follow suit since they'd get more moeny by selling a crap product than not selling it

now you feel what bansama feels...

Navagon: Until after the release date? That's not encouraging. The game might well be good in spite of that, but it's still a bad practise. If the game isn't ready to be reviewed then it's not ready to be released.

Didn't realize. That's terrible haha. :)

It is. The engine was built for easy multiplatform porting. But yeah, focus is on PC for now.

chautemoc: Lots of games good and bad have embargoes.

Catshade: True, but I've never heard a publisher embargoed reviews until ten days AFTER public release.

That's a good thing to do.
This way, real gamers and fans with blogs can get a jump on the "legitimate" press when they post release day reviews trashing this sure to suck title.
Anyone who thinks they can control information is deluded.
Holy pancakes, guys, the Warhammer 40k MMO is on that list. And it definitely looks next-gen, judging from what little is shown... also, like Tabula Rasa.

As long as its going to be GOOD (and the developers are gracious enough to permit it to be played here) and not just a wow clone with shootier guns, I'd be interested in purging the traitors and then when I'm bored of that load up an alternate character and bring death to the false emperor

Anamon: Luckily there are many big developers and publishers still devoted to the PC platform, not just porting but also putting in some thought (I think Rockstar and BioWare are agreeable examples).

BioWare yes, Rockstar no. GTA4 launched in a horribly broken state and still demands enormous amounts of video RAM despite wholly lacklustre graphics. According to reviewers Bully also got a horrible port.
While not strictly a game, Ubisoft did show ManiaPlanet. Some sort of system that will link TrackMania 2, ShootMania and QuestMania (which are all PC-exclusive for now).

I struggled thinking about whether to mention them :)
GTA IV was the first Rockstar PC game I had that was technically problematic, and I hope they are not going to repeat their mistakes. Considering this and even that they used online activation, it still feels to me like they care very much about their PC customers. Not only do they release almost every single one of their games for Windows, but they also put actual work into them. While other developers fail to optimise interface and controls for PCs, even have tutorials that still tell you to press X360/PS3 controller buttons, Rockstar ports give us stuff like the awesome video editor of GTA IV that go above and beyond of what you would expect from a straight port. Even though they might have their problems, Rockstar PC games still feel like they want to make us PC gamers happy, instead of just cheaply tapping into another market.
As mentioned above, I probably should have mentioned Blizzard as well.
I hope that WH40k MMO won't be a crap. And that my crappy excuse of a PC will be able to run it in a faster-than-slideshow mode.
What about Elemental: War of Magic from Stardock?

Thats an exclusive.
