I'd stay with Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

Asking a different question though: Is it a comedy trilogy?
Is it a Sci-Fi trilogy? Yes!

Is the movie a serious film versus a comedic film? By my definitions yes

Is it a comedy trilogy? No

bonus clue: I was just the right age to embrace this story of a young man previously leaving his home to explore the galaxy to find his destiny, then begining to make it so

A bit confused with your answer here:
"Was the film released in the 90's? N<No"

I take it either the movie was released before 1990 or on/after 2000, not from 1990 to 1999.

So, I'll stick with Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

Question: Does it star Harrison Ford?

Well just to be different from Taran I'll got with The Empire Strikes Back.

Was the trilogy first screened in the 70's and 80's?

Was trying to be coy in saying NO it wasn't in the 90's.... it was before. I'm tired, worked a full day and it's 2:00 AM.

Does it star Harrison Ford? He's there in a big way but not the biggest

Is the main character named Luke? Yes

Was the trilogy first screened in the 70's and 80's? The first of the trilogy began in the 70's

I'll stick with The Empire Strikes Back.

Just in case I'm wrong my question will be was it the third film in the trilogy?
I still stick with Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope.

Approaching the final minutes before office hour... so I guess it will be up to GameRager and Player_01 to carry the torch :-)

It has been fun, guys! Thanks for the contest, WhiteElk. Thanks Zenphic, KOCollins, GameRager and Player_01 for the participation!

I'll just wait for a few minutes more for the movie answer.

Sorry to see you go tarangywydion. But life is life and we gotta do what we gotta do. Thanks for participating and thanks for hanging around for so long!

Was it the third film in the trilogy? Yes

Was it the second film in the trilogy? No

Bonus clue: Something of ourselves gets lost, while something else is gained.

Final answer: Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
Cya Taran.

I'll go with The Return of the Jedi.
avatar
GameRager: It's episode 6 then. Luke loses his dad and hand, and gains something.....I forget what.
I would say Luke lost his dad (Darth Vader) and gained a soon-to-be brother-in-law (Han Solo).

Luke lost his hand in 5. In 6 he loses Yoda but gains a sister.
We had more rounds to go but everyone got it right this time! Return of the Jedi. Not so much for theatrical or art concerns or whatnot, but for the impact on a young kid coming into his own.

So Point Wise we got:

Player_1 = 4
GameRager = 2
tarangwydion = 2

I feel that the early rounds give clues about myself so thats why the show, movie and now....

My favoritte music band?
Really got to go home now, guys. It's Monday evening here, and the traffic here really makes "the wretched roads of scum and villainy." So see you tomorrow. Bye... :-D
yeah. I wonder if it's made by Skynet?

GameRager: Oh wait, I forgot he gains that COOL metallic/robotic hand.

Player_01: Luke lost his hand in 5. In 6 he loses Yoda but gains a sister.
avatar
GameRager: Actually he had her all along, he just didn't know about it yet.
True. Either that or George Lucas got his incest jollies at the start of Ep 5.
Jeepers Creepers.

That could be anything. Let's start with The Beatles.

Is it a metal band?
