I own them all, but so far only finished Anachronox and Beyond Good and Evil. Leroux's analysis is solid, it really depends on what you are looking for. Anachronox has it's limitations, but the story and the characters are very interesting. Beyond Good and Evil is one of the two most underrated games on GOG, IMO (the other being Psychonauts. Have you considered that one?)

So my vote goes to Beyond Good and Evil, but do yourself a favor and check out Psychonauts. ;)

Randalator: No, he should already own Deus Ex. EVERYBODY should already own Deus Ex.

Leroux: I don't really enjoy playing Deus Ex, but at least I own it! Am I excused? ;)
If anything, you've managed to make it even worse...
Well.. various reviews suggested that the best among them is Giants Citizen Kabuto, followed by Beyond Good and Evil :P
I recommend Beyond Good and Evil.
Did not care for BGaE

Omnikron is one of the few pc disc based games I still own so there is one more opinion
Beyond Good and Evil.

may not be to everyone's taste, but if you get used to the unique setting it is amazing

For me however, it leaves me with mixed feeling, because while I loved the game, it was the first game that made me sign up on a game forum to share my opinion, that of Ubisoft, as until then I barely even used the internet. I made 3 posts as a newbie forumite, one was writing my opinion on the game and two were introductions, and a moderator banned me due to "spam" because I posted a duplicate of my introduction for the others.

As someone who just began to use a web forum in his life I had no idea what "spam" was, or that there is usually a single intro thread in a forum, or that you don't have to introduce yourself in every thread you comment in. Ubisoft was unwilling to lift the ban, and I am/was too proud to create a second account to circumvent it.

You could say I loved Blue Byte and Ubisoft before this, as I also liked the Settlers games and "Albion", the events which made me fall in love with Beyond Good & Evil was also which started me to hate Ubisoft, and that feeling with later events just increased.
Well, if I'm going by numbers, it looks like (roughly)

Anachronox 2
Beyond G&E 10
Omikron 2
Giants: CK 4

and 2 for Sacrifice. I think. Er, I'm oldish, I have no idea what ib4Licurg means. Or if it's someone's name. Hum. NOTHING TO SEE HERE. Edit: IN BEFORE LICURG OH I AM A MORON

So, based on some compelling arguments and sheer numbers, I will most likely go with BG&E unless someone has a REALLY compelling argument in the next little bit. Haha. Thanks bunches, everyone! I will come back and report what I think at a later time or date. Take care!

So, the sales were too good. I grabbed Anachronox and Omikron as well. Le sigh.
