So, I was at a local pawn shop/used goods store, and saw a table "All itmes $0.99". I noticed a Candlebox CD and a double-wide jewel quest labelled "Police Quest" Swat".
Well, I have always wanted to pick up the old Police Quest games, and Sierra seems to have forgotten about them (Kings and Space Quest are on Steam, but not Police), so I thought Swat might be ok.
Then I found out what it was. An old crappy FMV game. I put it away, and all-but forgot about it.
Then, one day by fluke, I opened the back case, and noticed that the last disc didn't say anything about Swat on it. It was called the Four Most Wanted".....
I thought "no way, I didn't just discover that for $.99 I got the ENTIRE police quest series"....
And apparently, I did!

Yes, SWAT came bundled with the Police Quest series for a while - I have that version as well. Big ass manual included. Good deal for $1! Not my favorite games but good deal nevertheless!
SWAT should be picked up just for the sniping simulator. Incredibly realistic with instructors walking you through the steps on how to accurately snipe a target from a distance.
Also incredibly hard. Unless you know police tactics for EST/SWAT situations, you won't have a clue how to proceed. I have formal training in that field and its still hard for me, and I played it when I was 11.

A shame that they never bothered to fix the manuals or properly include the original Police Quest, swapping it out with the VGA remake instead. Was sorely disappointed with the Sierra collections when they were re-released.
Nice. I know the first Police Quest is on GameTap, and I've been meaning to download it. How is it?

SHAZYZANG: Well, my price - theres is X - 20X, which equates to 100 - 2000, I save 1900, which equates to 1900%.
I see your point tho, the way I originally phrased it would lead one to think that way.
But, you were just being a sarcastic jerk, so this post in irrelevant. :)

No, I have formal training now, and it's still hard for me, even though I played and beat the game when I was 11 :P

Same here. The hardest level was the old lady house when you had to go inside. I would get to the bed room part but i couldn't figure out how to tell everyone to move into the bathroom. If you clicked on the door or wasted to much time, she would jump out and gun you down. I beat the outside part but the game made me beat the level from the inside too. Some of the levels did have multiple ways to play them like the fourth one had three.
