Some of the updates to Portal this week were extremely vague, but there' one key difference people have found so far; the ending.

Looks like they're explaining how you end up in Portal 2. By the way, don't watch if you don't want it spoiled, but if you've already beaten the game before, it's probably not worth going through it all just to see five or ten seconds tacked on.
No update for the 360 arcade version as yet
Given the ending of that video, the first level of P2 had better feature a party and the promised cake or I'll be displeased

But it is worthwhile (as far as problem solving) to go through again and to find/get the newly added radios and to locate the new signals.
It's always worthwhile to play through Portal again.
looks like a very interesting piece of virl marketing hopefully some info will really appear soon
I don't think it would be bad to play through 3 hours of brain stimulating physics puzzles again. Heck I didn't play Portal in so long I don't remember the actual levels anymore, just the part with the companion cube and the last boss fight.
the new ending is just like the original with two bots pickin you up. Sort of, hmm, stupid.
*off*
i don't understand ,why Valve always ruin the ending of their games, and make them boring

Well, considering that you can beat the whole game within less than 2 hours.... I'm planning to re-play Portal again this night :-P

It is just a way to do a teaser for the sequel. If they had done a radically new ending, it would be a retcon and would be annoying (replaying the game for a new ending). Instead, we just got a few extra seconds. I wouldn't be surprised if we get another few seconds before the official announcement.
Is it bad that I didn't even know there was going to be a Portal 2? I'm interested to see where they take the level design.
it's not a "new" ending, being new would imply that it was significantly different from the first. "bots picking you up" is not significantly different. It's the same goddamn ending, with some extra dialogue.
It's exactly the right amount to suggest a second game by building tension/talks and without spoiling anything.

No clue what you're getting at.
