Greetings.

I just read that the Preacher comic books done by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon is going to be made as a TV serie with manuscript done by Sam Catlin.

No way this will end well...

This is about the third or fourth time its supposed to have happened. Its cursed! O____o

Eventually it will get to the point where Terry Gilliam begins making the film (co-produced by Oliver Stone) and everybody involved dies.

Aye - but its a good metaphor of whats happened so far with this being brought to TV etc. I think they'd be better off getting TellTale to make a game of it - it'd fit the format quite well, though would likely suffer the same "linearity" some complained of in regards to The Wolf Among Us (which I enjoyed a lot actually).

Edit: unless they kept you switching characters to fill i the backstories etc and add in stuff that had to be left out of the initial publications maybe...

Hm. Maybe. If so I'd preferably have it about the characters backstory. The saint of killers in particular have a fitting story for a game.

Aye!
I hadn't even heard about Preacher until a few days ago (somehow stumbled upon it on Google by accident). I know Ennis' and Dillon's work on the Punisher very well, though. Sounds good.

Preacher is absolutely fantastic up until somewhere around the middle and then it lose some of its charm. Still very good though.

Testament are great.
Though if I think about music and Preacher it's usually some sort of country. Would fit the Preacher character better. imho. :)

Edit: Have a look at Hitman by Garth Ennis too. I simply love the humour and pop culture references in it.
