Going to have to warn you, this is a tough one. I only have extremely vague memories of it, and my google searches and wikipedia expeditions have turned up squat :(

It was a humorous (extremely funny from what I recall) animated film, probably from the 80s/90s. The characters were weirdly drawn, and my extremely vague recollection of them reminds me somewhat of MAD magazines. In fact, it's almost as if they were a cross between Don Martin cartoons, Cow and Chicken and Mike, Lu and Og.

I think that the protagonist was this seemingly weak and pathetic young male character and somewhere in the film he met the love of his life, who was a woman with comically large breasts. One scene in particular that I remember was when she ran towards him (perhaps at the end of the film) with her, pardon me, breasts bouncing all over the place. Other elements that may have been involved: the sea, ships and pirates. I seem to recall that he joined a band of sea going adventurers/misfits (possibly pirates), and possible rebelled against them somewhere in the film. (edit: or tried to escape from them)

Perhaps one more note : the colour scheme I remember as pretty light, a lot like the environments in Mike, Lu and Og.

I really need to know what this film is, partly to convince myself I didn't dream it all :P

EDIT: I thought I found it earlier today : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLQ6OCT5XUU
That is close to the style of animation as I remember it, and it might even be it, except I don't see the love interest anywhere in the film, nor the scene where she runs towards the assumed protagonist. That specific scene, which is the only one I explicitly remember, is what I will take as confirmation.

Could it be one of Asterix movies?

ironwoman: Could it be one of Asterix movies?
It's not one of the Asterix movies no. I'm a huge Asterix fan and would definitely have remembered had it been an Asterix movie. Incidentally, Asterix in Britain is my favorite, with Twelve Tasks in close second :D
This is really a tough one. Doesn't ring a bell to me... I will check IMDB if I find something.
Sometimes, really awesome movies were just dreams. It does happen.
Have you checked in here ?

Could this possibly be the French adult cartoon maybe called The Big Bang, the end mentioned there fits with it :

Thanks for the links :) I haven't but I'll check later tonight. I'm pretty it was a movie though, and not a morning cartoon.

Doesn't look like it no, and I'm pretty sure it was family friendly, since I watched it with my conservative parents at the time :P Things such as hair colour and style are easy to get wrong after many years, but I feel as if though the lady was a redhead and/or had long curly hair.

Could it be Thomas & Tim? Probably not since it is a danish cartoon, but your description reminded me about it.

No doesn't look like it, and I'm not sure how my parents would've reacted to 8:57 :D

I like the direction of the guesses, but no it didn't have an anime style, at least, not that kind. I would be surprised if it turns out to be an eastern made film. I'm expecting a west europe production for some reason (just a gut feeling).

I seem to recall that the character outlines were, uneven, and its killing me because I can't think of an example in another show/film :P

I vaguely remember a Ren & Stimpy episode that fits some of your description. Could that be it ?

Not Ren & Stimpy no. Lol, I imagine you are referring to the one at the beach with the hairy lifeguard? That was legendary :D
