Hey Guys,

I'm going on a GoG "binge", buying SMAC and Jagged Alliance 2.

I need some opinions on a third game. I generally like shooters and strategy (the latter especially), however, some really OLD games do tend to get on my nerves.

I've been looking at some games:
-Crusader
-Dungeon Keeper
-Privateer (but I have it on CD)
-Stronghold Crusader

Any opinions?
Dungeon Keeper is a great Strategy game and Crusader a super Shooter (really hard to master as I can remember).

I would suggest Crusader for the better choice for you :)
Definitely Crusader or Dungeon Keeper.
I wouldn't mind both if they're that good, but Dungeon Keeper does look QUITE old. However, i did enjoy Evil genius..

I think the GOG screenshots for Dungeon Keeper look worse than the game itself. It's a really nice game. Big fights are really confusing, though, especially when there's gas... that doggone gas...

I think I may just drop JA2 altogether and get SMAC, Dungeon keeper and Crusader
Stronghold Crusader is a very nice castle-building RTS. You have to have a strong economy running, then build a castle and an army with which you try to siege the enemy's castle; it may sound generic but I assure you it's tons of fun.
The AI is not that cunning when attacking your walls, but the real fun comes from trying to siege the harder AIs' castles anyway.
NOTE: Stronghold Crusader is a skirmish-only game, so if you're looking for an RTS with a captivating story, it may not be your thing.
Go for Crusader: No Remorse :)

It's one of the great action games of the 90's and it looks pretty damn decent for its age, even when manually scaled up to 1280x960 (which is how I'm playing it, fullscreen with black borders, on my 1680x1050 flat panel). It also has pretty good animations, cool looking explosions and it was one of the first games to feature (partially) destructible environments.

Don't drop JA2. It's an extraordinary game and besides it's on promotion this weekend so you get it half price for only 4.99$.
Would lean towards crusader but played this game when it first came out and been influenced by Vagabond for a long time xD

But then when I picked up DK I found myself pinned to my pc playing it for like 2 hours in a row...
Ok I bought Crusader and SMAC, might buy JA2 this weekend. Thanks folks!
