Don't get me wrong, it is a shame that this spirit of yours is overlooked. But take e. g. me. I'm not interested in Steam/Desura (basically anything other than GOG) and because all of those things are freebies, I already have (most of) them (well, everything up to now).
So practically the only thing I can do is to uprep you. And I can do as well quietly. If you generalize that, you can see the reason why there are virtually no posts/no participation. Everyone, who's a bit longer here, have all of those things. :)
