I guess I'll fill in a bit of history. :)
I was initially in charge of game DRM testing. I'll freely admit that the testing things we were doing probably weren't adequate to get the job done, but it wasn't the bloated, inflexible monstrosity it is now. Eventually I stepped down, simply because my whole interest has shifted. I want to tell people what's going on, and they make up their minds. RYG claims to do that, but they also want to tell people "This DRM is okay, this one isn't." That doesn't make sense to me.
lowyhong : Keep in mind, a LOT of the SecuROM claims made there are not backed up. A lot of them really boil down to rhetoric from panicky people who freely admit they don't have any tech know how, yet have somehow determined that all of their computer problems are the result of SecuROM. So I'd suggest reading that stuff with a grain of salt, especially since a lot of it is years old.
As for other sites to try...I'd suggest going with an actually officially recognized organization like the EFF.
drmlessgames : Uhhh...no. Simply put, if you want to have any sort of interaction with game companies or DRM vendors, and want any chance in Hell of your findings being listened to, you can't be inflexible and screaming "ALL DRM IS EVIL!" At that time, we had hoped that we might expand upon the initial conversations that had happened. Unfortunately, due to a lot of other problems behind the scenes, that was never going to happen.
However, initially the inclusion of activation limits was an immediate fail...something nobody really had an issue with. That part of it magically disappeared with the new test document with no explanation at all.
I do agree with Crass on a lot of the problems being fabricated but I can prove securom has locked me out of one game while every other one and the torrent of that game work just fine. Don't take claims from random people unless they have tested it in multiple ways.

Oh, I don't doubt it. Definitely, some people DO legitimately have technical issues resulting from DRM.
I just suspect that in a lot of cases, you have someone who runs in to an issue running a game. They aren't computer savvy, so they don't know what's going on. So they do a search, they find a site like that, and they decide that it must have been the DRM that caused the problem. Could be ancient drivers, could be another system problem, and yes it COULD be a DRM problem, but they simply decide that it has to be the DRM because they don't know any better.
@ all who are having Steam problems, ever: Rename clientregistry.blob. It's in where you installed Steam. Internet connection required, however.
On topic: Hmm... Seeing a former admin on that site pointing out its failing and the absurdities of its testing regime, and the fact that this forum is pratically "The Unoffical DRM Sucks Royally (ESPECIALLY STEAM!!!!11!!1) Forums", I'm surprised that the thread has still a general positive view on the site.
One other point that I'll make. When I first got there, the forums were very lively. When I was an Admin, there were 10 other admins and moderators all contributing.
Now the forum's quiet and they're down to 4 admins as total staff. Everyone else grew tired of the way things were going and stepped down or left.
I still pop in there now and then, but have to agree: I'm disappointed on the softening of their DRM stance.
