Crazy adventures are best enjoyed before five o'clock tea.

Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures, the most British of all Telltale's episodic adventure games, is now available for up to 70% off on GOG.com! You can have it for as little as $6.99 until Thursday, September 6 at 10:59 AM GMT.

The British everyman Wallace and his canine companion Gromit might be the biggest celebrities ever made from modeling clay, but the adventures that lay before them in the four episodes of this game are even bigger. They'll be starting a honey delivery service, running an underground holiday resort, chasing after a rogue dog-catcher, and participating in a golf tournament--now ain't that GRAND? Sure it is, when you apply the Wallace-logic to every single of those tasks. Things are bound to go in all unexpected directions, offering many opportunities to exercise the specific British humor.

Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures bundles the whole series of episodes produced by Telltale: Fright of the Bumblebees, The Last Resort, Muzzled!, and the golf-centric Bogey Man. True to classic adventure games spirit, the game also manages to capture the charm of the stop motion clay animation original so well that it will leave you with a craving for tea and biscuits!

Are you British enough to handle Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures? Find out now, with a discount up to 70%! Head to the promo page for details.

Telika: AWWW Max would be so amused.

Ahum.
Hm.
NOW I remember why I hated Sam and Max :)
Either I'm missing something, or I found a bug.

Either way, I got stuck at the very beginning of episode 1, but since the game is a very new addition to GOG and mine was the first post in its subforum, I'm doing this post in an attempt to get someone to notice said post and perhaps even aid me.

Over there, please, if you already know enough not to be spoiled by details in the beginning.
Oh, great! Nice way to make me feel bad about having bought Sam&Max and BttF directly from Telltale last year.

I'm not getting W&G for 10 bucks, sorry.

Hmmm is there any chance someone here plans on buying the other 2 games and could gift Wallace&Gromit to me? I can gift you a $5.99 game of your choice back.

Edit: if you accept the offer please contact me first just to make sure nobody jumps ahead of you. I have no use for a second copy of W&G.

Gilou: I already have the answer: after 2 years and almost 20,000€ spent in England to pass my degrees in order to become a solicitor, and 2 years of unsuccessful applications for a training contract without a single interview, I have come to the conclusion that you cannot be British unless you are British by birth.

Bloodygoodgames: Just like in any other country.

I am British. By birth.

I now live in Thailand. As much as I love Thailand, I will never be Thai. The Thais make sure of that. We are even called 'farang' here - meaning a foreigner who is 'white' :)
Hey, immigrant will never be 100% assimilated with the society that he/she moves in (even after 50 years...), but millions of people choose to change the country they want to live in and most of them are happy! Plus being an outsider is sometimes good and generally the society accepts you. I'm sorry to hear that it was not the case with Gilou - but heads up - I'm sure you will get a job in Europe!
I've just seen the trailer - it's funny as hell.... So, I bought the game and maybe before Xmas I will be able to play - I bought so many games and most of them I haven't even downloaded - including Witcher 2 . . . Oh well, life is not easy, so many good games thanks to gog and so little time to play them all...

GOG must be a pretty nice place to buy PC games for Aussies, seeing how games tend to be outrageously overpriced over there.
So.....Monkey Island anytime soon since this is all here?
Is this intended for youths? (seriously, I'm not familiar with the game, and seen the animated series only in passing)

Wallace and Gromit is good for all ages.

Well, the show is at least. I haven't played this game but I'd assume it's along the same lines.

What Mephe said. You really should try watching all of the shorts if you're able to. They're great fun. They even made one feature movie, which I thought actually suffered from its length.

I'm not really into animation (well unless it's Family Guy) but the stop motion clay look from these guys looks really sharp on the TV.

To tell you the truth gog is the best place to buy games - all of them are dirty cheap ($6, $10, $15 or even $20) and strong Aussie dollar makes the deal even sweater! Well, life is good thanks to gog!
I remember just a year ago when all PC games at local stores were at least $70 upon release. 2-3 years ago the average price for a new AAA title was $90-100 upon release (or more for "limited editions).
I'm really happy that gog is selling only good games and the fact that most of them are a bit old or old-school is definitely not a disadvantage.
Anyway, thanks for the post and I hope that things in USA will get better and that US economy will get stronger (so you will be able to buy more games too)!! Cheers!!

Fair prices, bonus content, DRM-free, exclusive games. GOG very nice place for all PC gamers.

You cannot gift one game from an order, either the whole order or nothing. The only way to redeem part of an order is to already have bought the rest of the order from GOG.

That is, if you had already bought Sam & Max S3 and Back to the Future from GOG, you could redeem a code containing all three promo'd games and only get Wallace & Grommit, then the code would still be valid for the other two games and they could be redeemed by someone else. Now, owning the other games is quite unlikely for this promo since the promo started just as the games were released, but it would work.

So, sorry, it seems your choices are to pay the current price or wait for another promo that may give a better discount.

Ah, what you said makes sense. Still, I've seen big-hearted guys here on GOG before so I may still retain hope, right? For people who [are buying | already bought] all three games I'm assuming the discount of 70% for a second copy applies based on them already possessing the other two games.

For everyone: bear in mind I don't have to get a $5.99 game to perform the gift swap. It could be two games on promo for $2.99 each, like Master of Magic plus Age of Wonders are right now. I'd even manage to save 1cent that way!!!
