i have been eyeing sacred 2 gold for a few days now

and mostly uhming and ahing over it

mostly because i actually already own the base game and i am wondering if gold 2 is worth it if i already have the base game

i am also wondering what exactly was added because the screen shots dont look liek anything i saw in sacred 2
which was a camera that didnt nearly come that close

did they alter that for the expansion ?

As I know, it has 2 new big expansions - Blood and cold + Fallen angel, they add new regions and playable content:

- Six diverse characters to choose from each with distinct game play styles
- Unrestricted mounted battle: Each character will be able to ride various mounts and engage in melee and ranged combat
- Ability to trade items and gold via Lobby world
- Introducing a new playable character, the Dragon Mage
- Brand new stories and quests incorporating new enemies and locations. Over 30 hours of new game play
- Two new regions to explore: The Crystal Planes and The Cursed Forest

Fallen Angel is the subtitle for the base game. The game had only one expansion.

ah yes but does it also include the closer camera i have seen in the screen shots ?
the screen shots are quite different from the sacred 2 im used too

That would have no relevance to the subtitle of the base game. It may be due to the only expansion.

Changelog is extensive. Solves quite a few bugs, restores some content and also keeps the Christmas alive forever (that was an event back when the servers were still working which added quite a few quests and areas and the Christmas event was removed in an official hotfix)

So far I'm really disappointed. Not in the game, but in the current sale I haven't seen Sacred 2 avaliable since like the second day into the sale. I try to check back every few hours, but it's never there... I wanted to get a copy for trading later...

Uninstall the 1.40f hotfix, use the link i provided, install the 1.50 patch. That version is fully compatible with the expansion.
