Any plans on getting Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri? It must be one of the good old classics I most wish worked on a new OS. Haven't played it in years.
Keeping my fingers crossed!

If you have trouble running SMAC on XP or a 64bit system, install this patch:
http://www.firaxis.com/downloads/Patch/SMAC_Win2000_XP_Compatibility_Update_v1.03f.exe
Then locate the Alpha Centauri.ini file in the SMAC install dir, locate the line "ForceOldVoxelAlgorithm=" and change its value from 0 to 1.
That said, it may work out of the box. I didn't have to do the above to run SMAC on a 64bit Win7 machine.
As the second post pointed out, the wishlist is the place for this sort of thing. However, AFAIK Sid Meier's with 2k, while Alpha Centauri is still being held by EA, so you're probably going to have to wait until both come on board.
Filthgrinder, welcome to GOG and to the forum. Enjoy your stay and enjoy the Good Old Games! :o)

Sorry, didn't notice the Wish List. Kind hidden.
Shame I can only use my account "once"....the site won't let me log back in. So I had to make a new account to reply.
I have sent a message to support....but has anyone else come across this problem?

I too hope for this. Along with Darklands and the Age of Wonders series it is the game I most wish for.

I think you must have made some kind of mistake?
If you are using NoScript, have you allowed gog.com's scripts?

Still have the original CD, and I would buy this so hard.

Me too, except I can't find the CD no more (I know it's somewhere around here, though), so all the more reason to buy it from GOG if they got this amazing game:)
I got the rereleased budget version with Alien Crossfire bundled.
Stupid thing has SecuROM on it. <Bin/>
