Sounds much more dangerous right when refered to as ICD code than by its normal name.
Please, don't bother yourself looking it up, it's just the common cold I'm suffering from.

So with medicine it lasts about a week, without probably seven days the saying goes. But here I am wading through used hankies and feeling bad enough to start a topic here but not bad enough to stay at home and not going to work.

So are there any special games you play when you are sick?
Do some games have a bigger influence on the "healing process"?
I'm not in the mood to play the usual games, they feel bland and tasteless just like the food and drink at the moment.
So what would you suggest?

Of course you can name your secret native/indegenous traditional medicine that makes the cold go away faster, too.
Ha ha I thought that was code for:

"I See'd You!"

And this was going to be an NSA paranoia topic. XD
Hahhaha...
Okay...
Didn't thought about that. I have a habit of referring my illnesses in an ICD10 code, it's simply sounds better... :D

Only above a certain percentage, but it will always kill braincells. =D

Khadgar42: So are there any special games you play when you are sick?
I usually go for something that's a) not too complex, b) doesn't require me to be focused on many things at once, c) is decidedly non-hectic, e.g. turn-based or at least can be paused any time, and d) doesn't have particularly loud or bright effects.

Games that I enjoyed the last time when I was ill include "Puzzle Quest" and "Trine". I also played some of the "Lone Wolf" books from Project Aon, and I even returned to the utter failure of "Talisman Prologue".

Weirdly enough, the last time I was _really_ sick (ketoacidosis from blood sugar shooting through the roof since my body had stopped producing insulin), I enjoyed things that would usually bore me to tears, like playing casual games, or watching some mediocre movie. I guess I was so droopy that I felt content with activities that I'd usually find thoroughly unfulfilling.

When I'm brain dead from the cold and/or cold medicine I play the frustrating platformers that I never have the patience for otherwise. I believe that's how I first finished Shadow Man. Also, the dark and bloody melodramatic and psychological games go better when I'm in such a state. So, Shadow Man, Crash Kart Racing, Post Mortem, Hotline Miami...

Kill enough brain cells and one won't care that he or she is ill. That's my target, anyway.

Instead of "an apple a day", today the equivalency was two Cuba Libres.
