I have just taken a very long vacation from the forums--playing Master of Magic obsessively (amazing game). How many active members do we lose to GOG's great releases?
A funny side note--I didn't even buy it from GOG. The release reminded me of what a great game it is, so I dusted off my copy and started playing. I feel oddly guilty about this, and I think I might just buy it from GOG. Extras, right?

Sorry, I'm always here. =P
Jk.
We lose no one really, unless The Joe loads up the Guild. Then it's all over.

So that's why GOG still haven't (as far as I know) put The Guild on weekend sale yet.

I hate them for that. :-)
Long ago I've decided to buy it once it is on sale because I was really thrilled by what I read about this game but was very low on money. Around half year later I am still waiting and nothing. Although I already have money to buy it I am to greedy and want to stick with my decision to wait for sale.

You call that detrimental?
