In for Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator (GOG)

I remember Might and Magic I in college where a bunch of us would trade off playing the game and mapping it, hours and hours and hours.

My favorite RPG is Baldurs Gate 2. It does many things right, and I like being able to roll up my own party and play co-op with a friend.

Thanks for the giveaway!
Thanks triock. Please enter me for Septerra Core. I've had this on my wishlist for ages, but never pulled the trigger...

Since I'm giving away Ultima VII at the moment, I should probably mention this RPG because I claim that it's one of my all-time favourites. My question is this: what other game let's you find and use a magic carpet that has individual seating for your entire party and also allows you to place empty kegs between the seats for loot storage? Enough said :D
I'm in for Thespian too, thanks and +1.

One of my favorite RPGs so far is Deus Ex. Along with massively open ended gameplay, flexible storyline, and an amazing dark atmosphere, the best thing about it is that it isn't just an RPG. Sure, you've got skills, and you've got leveling up, and all that, but Deus Ex is also a stealth game, an FPS game, and an action adventure game. I'm quite amazed that the folks at Ion Storm were able to pull this off, and I can see clearly why it's on all those "Best Game of All Time" lists.
I'm in for OldFatGuy.

I'm a sucker for old school console rpgs, namely on super nintendo.
I fell in love with rpgs from frist playing Final Fantasy IV (2 in USA), I then graguated to Chromo Trigger, Super Mario RPG, Final Fantasy VI (3 in USA). Etc.
Just something about these older console rpgs make me the most happy.

Lately I've been digging newer westren pc rpgs, like the elder scrolls series, fallout series, etc. (those that have base stats like strength/intellegence/charisma/etc.)

However, the last few pc rpgs I played were "dumbed" down enough a house pet can beat them, which saddens me.

Please count me in for Septerra Core. My favorite RPG is probably Chrono Trigger because of all the character development. Thank you for the giveaway. +1
I'm in for Millennium 2

Baldurs Gate..............I restarted it an insane amount of times because I wanted everything to go perfectly

Thanks for this triock :)
I'm in for Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator for RWarehall.

My favorite RPG was VTMB. The atmosphere in the game really put me in the vampire mindset to the point where I would be watching for future feeding victims when I wasn't even hungry.

If we're going to eat each other like rodents on mafia island I might as well offer some help here ;)

I actually wanted to play this game after tackling a short demo of it *ahem* a few years back (unless this was a sequel?). Always seemed interesting, and a turn based SCI-FI themed RPG wasn't exactly common - it's one I'll probably pick up myself one day - getting to have a robot as a companion before HK-47 was a twinkle in a Bioware devs eye was a plus too ;)

As far as my favorite RPG... wow. Tough question. I sit here and in the spirit of sci fi RPGs I could say Mass Effect. I could also say System Shock 2, KOTOR... or even Diablo purely for "hours sunk" (I never got into the Ultimas, Wizardry or Might and Magic series... and while I LOVE Morrowind + the later Fallout games, none of these games are quite "there" in terms of favorite overall). But I think I might have to go with Baldur's Gate. When, almost 20 years later, parents, roommates and siblings that don't even care a lick about gaming STILL quote "Buttkicking for Goodness" because of me and that game, you KNOW there was something special going on ;)
And just as a general observation / old curmudgeonly rant...

Do you think if the Bioware / Black Isle people read this thread and saw how revered their games were, they'd shed a tear for what they used to be? Or would they just say F$%& it and continue rolling in EAs money, laughing Mass Effect 2/3 and Dragon Age 2 all the way to the bank?
*end rant, sorry to interject video game politics into the thread but I couldn't help myself :( *
Not in but thanks for the giveaway part two, Triock.

Games in Might & Magic universe will always be my favorite. Hence, Might & Magic series is my favorite. From the whole series, probably VII is on the top, because of its background story. King's Bounty series released last few years is also in my favorite list. I just love the whole universe.
Not in.

+1 Rep for your generosity though! ^_^

Thanks for the giveaway! Count me in for Hack, Slash, Loot (steam) :3

My favorite RPG has been Paper Mario since I was five. It was my first RPG! Event though today I can breeze through it in less than a day, I still love it. It's just so...carefree, and fun! The dialogue is hilarious, the art is beautiful, the gameplay is fun, and the music, god, I listen to the whole OST for pleasure! Even if it's not quite the epic as, say, Baldur's Gate or Elder Scrolls, it still has a place in my heart.
