Are there decent speakers that can work with a 360/LCD monitor setup?
I was thinking about these, because Logitech's website says the speakers have support for consoles:

I hate this. I shouldn't have cheaped out and bought a monitor, I should have bought a TV!

What cable are you using for the connection to the monitor? Both the HDMI kit and component kit have RCA outs for the sound, an RCA to 3.5mm headphone/speaker jack would probably set you back 5 bucks. The HDMI/Component kits aren't the cheapest but you should be able to find a deal on one on ebay

Is that also compatible with the HDMI/Optical Out cable? If not, I guess I'll just pick up the HDMI kit.
Oh wait, it IS compatible! Sweet, I just need to pick up an RCA to 3.55 mm headphone/speaker jack! Thanks!

Bear in mind that you will not get true surround sound from the 360 with these because they don't have any built-in decoders. You will only be able to get stereo or up-mixed stereo from the console.

Oh yeah, I know all that. I'm using my PS3 for all my DVD/BluRay needs.
