Am I the only one who sees the Unreal series and immediately thinks of Angry German Kid? Watching him still makes me lmao...
Unreal 3 was a real disappointment for me. Its too console-ized. The menus are godawful. Its almost a port.
Okay, Unreal, great. But what about all those other Epic games that aren't on GOG yet?

zaine-h: Okay. Honest question. I have the Unreal Anthology which includes all four games with the latest official patches. Is there any benefit to having the GOG versions beyond not having to deal with the CD key?
Currently, I doubt so (unless you count the extras). Future-wise, the possibility of Galaxy Multiplayer.
I wish GOG would add the linux versions of UT ("loki installer") and UT 2004 (native linux support).
Plus: UT would be really nice with pre-installed S3TC hi-res-textures (which were included on the second disc).

Sorry, but I won't buy before at least parts of the original bundle are available (S3TC textures or the UT2k4 linux file).

aren't the s3tc textures for ut99 included in a free patch? probably avaible for download at an ut99 community page.
I think I still will use my 2 CD version of UT with S3TC textures and full spanish audio instead of this...
Last year support told me that due to current deal Gog could not sell international version. A shame :(

I've seen them on the net and I own all discs anyway, but a complete bundle without having to install them separately all the time would be really nice

There is way too much needed to be installed. And not to mention if you try to apply the S3TC textures on the Unreal 1 and Return To NaPali textures..

UT 2004? Not even better ;-P

Presuming that the Unreal Anthology versions continue to work just fine out of the box: not really.
I second more Epic games - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epic_Games#Epic_MegaGames_.281991.E2.80.931999.29 - especially Jazz Jackrabbit (assuming Take 2 doesn't have b/c of JJ2), Jill of the Jungle bundle, and Epic Pinball. (Besides being freeware, OMF isn't under Epic's domain now.)

I have the exact same CD based collection as you and I ended up getting the GOG version. In my opinion yes because

#1 no CD keys and #2 no CD's GOG installer and uninstaller is really good at preserving your save data. So if you have a custom bot roster with your own stats and settings it's very easy to keep them.

The s3tc textures aren't worth it in my opinion. They don't blend very well.

ReynardFox: Will we ever see UT3 on here? That would have been such a good game to launch Galaxy with...
I hated UT3 I'm not bothered if they don't release it here.

...and I loved UT3, and others did too, it deserves to be here just as much as the rest.

It is a port. People say "it doesn't matter if it's a console port as long as it's good" Play either UT99 or UT04 and then UT3 and tell me that consoles didn't ruin it.

I won't complain if they do, but I'm not getting upset if they don't. I mean they did release Diakatan so who knows.
