To get Bring Down the Sky see Mass Effect Bring Down the Sky DLC Redemption. If you have the Mass Effect Trilogy version it already includes both Bring Down the Sky and Pinnacle Station.

Play all ME games. Yes they have their flaws, but the whole series is just brilliant.

Licurg: My suggestion would be to skip it altogether. Everything you're hoping from it is just not there...

grinninglich: I am not hoping anything but i will just try.
Yep, better not to expect anything from it and you might even end up liking the series, should you decide to play the sequels.
Just to balance all the negativity, I consider the first game to be the worst in the trilogy, and it's still a fantastic game.

I haven't tried Pinnacle Station, and from what I hear, it has no effect on later instalments. Bring Down the Sky is still one of my favourite pieces of DLC for any game due to its fantastic visual design, the well-designed overworld and overall high production values. Since it's free, there is no reason not to install it.
Play all the me games you will not believe the amount of time you will spend finishing each game
Oh, hey, here's a question - I have ME1 DRM free on Gamersgate and ME2 on Origin - is that going to cause a problem when I come to try to take my Sheppard from one to the other? - How DO you link them up?
Thanks

I think you just have to put the ME1 save files in the proper directory so ME2 would recognize them.

Cool - cheers!
You could also activate ME1 on Origin, with your GG code.

I used the chat support tool, and it was done in 5 minutes :)
