Basically AoE2 Starwars, it was a really fun game. Does anyone know where you can get it online or something?

I love this one. I still play it now and then along with SW Empire at War.

Still have this on the shelf to be played. Bought it as at EB - budget release - bought together at the time with The Dig, Full Throthle and Grim Fandango.

Will eventually install it - don't know when though after all the new purchases from the sale!

nice necro, but while we are on the star wars topic. Has anyone heard or been keeping an eye on the possible resurrection of Star Wars Galaxies?

I could not find anything about a revival of Star Wars Galaxies.

Was that the one on the Age of Empires engine? Loved that one, especially all the different SW factions you could play.

I still check sometimes, but nothing flashy has been done in the past year or so.
They are still slowly working on it though, after starting from scratch on one part of the server (a year ago).
It's apparently somewhat playable.

I have this game and the expansion too, sadly isn't available in nopne digital store...

It is hands down my favorite game of all time and YES it's AOE 2 with a wrapper but as a SW fanatic it simply DOES NOT get any better than this. Even the shitty missions are great. Just hearing that 'click-click-click' when you move your Storm Troopers is enough to make me cry. SHIT, the intro movie is fantastic!

This is one of the great games of my fairly recent childhood. Me and my younger brother like playing it and he was unwilling to share it after we found it. My dad bought Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds as a bundle with James Bond 007: Nightfire, and Indiana Jones and The Emperor's Tomb at the nearby Sam's Club. When my dad first got it I was a huge Star Wars ( the Star Wars visual dictionaries are awesome ) , Indiana Jones, and Bond fan--and still am to a lesser extent. I had the most fun setting up my own scenarios since I was rather horrible at the game when I was like 9 or 10. It is disturbing that they do not have this game on Steam yet they have so many other Star Wars games.
