Have any of you guys noticed that steam play times have seemed to gone insane? Because steam seems to think that I've played X-COM UFO Defense for five hours even though I've only I've only booted up the DOSbox version for about a minute once before closing it. I've checked some games that I've finished and the play times on those are screwed up too. For instance, Bastion, when I finished it it said that I had 5 hours logged, but now it says 10 hours? By the way do alternate engines for games (or source ports) like Zdoom and OpenXcom count towards logged steam ply times?
The GOG forum seems like an odd place to post this question, but here's some info anyway...

(Not exactly the same as your issue, but people have been noticing play times doing all kinds of strange things after a recent update)

Good point. I think that I've a bit too gotten used to posting any random gaming related thing in the GOG forums (probably a bad habit, but I guess that I'll try think before posting next time).
If you're in the beta, you could try leaving it and restarting Steam. It fixes the '0 hours played' bug for some people. I don't think it will work but it might and you can re-join straight after if it doesn't fix the problem.

And sorry if my first post seemed rude, it looks a bit snarky but it wasn't intended that way.

That's fine. It seems to have fixed itself so I guess it was just a bug or something.
