I just installed the new Steam user interface in its Beta state. I love it. After discovering GOG I kinda wished the Steam interface would be more like the one on GOG. So what I'm saying is that the Steam UI reminds me of GOG.com design.
There's even a "Games under €10" and "Games under €5" section. It's even possible to add games to your wishlist! But it doesn't have a "Own it" button and I can't see any extras with the games ;-)
I've attached screenshots of the different ways you can view your games list on Steam.
And now it's up to the GOG guys to take inspiration from Steam. I'd love me a list view of my games on GOG :-D
Edit: Err.. I mean, I'd love a List view on GOG that's sorted alphabetically.

GOG have an update of the site planned sometime this year. I don't know what that will entail though.
And the beta isn't all that new. It's been out for about two months i think. But it was an opt-in beta, and was not forced on anyone.
The beta is obviously ending soon now that they've put a banner to it on the store page. Bet they don't fix half the problems with it before forcing every one to use it.
Don't we already have a thread on this? Searching... yep, here it is:

For the most part I like it but it has an annoying tendency to forget my game display preferences and default to giant tiles.
Anyone else using it with win7? Does it vanish from the system tray regularly even if you tell it to always show?

Dang. I'm usually good at recycling posts but obviously not this time around. If it's possible, an admin could just move (merge?) this post onto the older one.

There are no admins!? Or none who appear overtly...
IT'S A CONSPIRACY!
