I read that the Surgeon Simulator doesn't have Occulus Rift support - something about it being an unofficial beta, but that it could become official, and that GOG would then support it, and I was wondering:

- Is there any plan to get VR games in general, once Occulus Rift is commercial?
- How about games that use Hydra/Stem (e.g. Portal 2)?
- Games that use TrackIR and other special technologies like that (some of them may already; I'm not sure)?
- What about some of the games that use native Novint Falcon support (usually only available from Novint's website)?
(If you ever brought back the Penumbra trilogy [PLEASE do!], it would be great it there was a Falcon-compatible version also).

I know IL2 uses TrackIR. I don't think GOG segregates by input device. But it would be handy to have a little icon similar to Steam to show that a controller is supported, a joystick, TrackIR, etc.

Portal 2 will never be here. It, along with most Valve software, is integrated into Steam, which is inherently DRM.

Portal 2 is on torrents, where it's obviously DRM-free. Not that Valve would allow it to be sold here, of course, but it's not because they were close-minded in the past and can't help it now, it's because they are currently being douchenozzles.
Well I already have Portal 2 so I don't really care - I was just using it as an example (although the Hydra version would be nice, and I suppose other people might want Portal 2 anyway), but what I'm most interested in is VR games in general, which use the Hydra/Stem and Occulus Rift.

But those aren't even really available officially yet (Hydra's discontinued), so it may be a little while before there's much available anyway.

I also especially think the Falcon Penumbra trilogy would be great, and I really wish Falcon would have more games with native support for true haptics, instead of just emulating a mouse or joystick. BTW does anyone know when XIO will be available?

I don't even have TrackIR but I might get one if there were some good games I could use with it.
