Wishbone: Here's another idea. If you want to make a good FPS, develop it on the platform best suited for it (PC) and then port it to consoles if you must, instead of the other way around.

Sounds like dragon age origins.
Must not give in.
Must not give in..

Now i can't help but want to play dragon age origins again.

Indeed, DA:O was a triumph of porting to home consoles, although some ports to consoles have been less than successful. (I still have nightmares about Quake 4 on the XBOX 360) (and Risen)

I don't really see much in the list that should be FPS specific and I see little that is 'essential' at all, from my perspective. The features are a generic shopping list for online PC games and we can kinda cut out the term 'FPS'.
If I had to pick the point I disagree with most, while letting the others fly (if for no reason other than me not being in the mood for writing a long post), I'd have to say "In Game Recording". I really, really like this stuff, but it hardly fits into the all-caps ESSENTIAL catagory. Not by any stretch of the imagination. We can all see the benefits. Most of us probably enjoy this stuff. But essential? Or ESSENTIAL even? Nope. Beneficial and enjoyable at best.
