I can't contribute as I know very little about Austria which is shameful because they are our neighbours and our favorite neighbors to boot, the ones most similar to us in many regards. (generally mellow-natured people, skiing champs, tourism, nice Alps and clean & quiet etc)
I've only been to Austria once but that doesn't count as we just crossed the border to go eat at a fish restaurant, that hardly counts as experiencing the country. I'd love to visit Austria sometime, but it's too expensive for me at the moment.

I think it hasn't been mentioned (I didn't read the entries, just searched), but Australia is known as the home of the developer of the greatest RPG yet to be released, one Cleve Blakemore.

I'm not sure if that counts as "something derogatory or that puts the country in a bad light". I guess it's a matter of perspective.
