It's sad that Urban Decay (by Andrew Spencer, the guy behind Ecstatica) never saw the light of day. Development started shortly after Ecstatica was finished and insiders claim that some demos from 1995 or 1996 had ragdoll effects and cover based shooting.

There's also some other places on the web with more chunks of information on it. Also just noticed that one of the scanned articles says that the game was planned to be released in 1996 (don't know when the article was printed, though).

A lot of things in that video remind me of Metal Gear Solid. The life bar is somewhat similar, and some of the poses when he takes cover are spot on.
