Damn it, I want Time Splitters 2 to come to PC! I still keep the old Gamecube version in my Wii and play it regularly. I'm well aware that Future Perfect will probably never make it to PC, due to EA being turd logs. But TS2 was published by Eidos, and they've brought games to PC before (Tomb Raider). Thus, I hold thy breath...
Seems pretty unlikely Eidos would spend development money on a port of an 8 year old game that isn't exactly a big name title that will get a lot of attention.

This, pretty much. Also, you have to remember that the original developers are owned by Crytek and (apparently) are working on Crysis 2's multiplayer. That said, I *think* Free Radical (sorry, Crytek UK) still has control over the TimeSplitters IP (they were working on TimeSplitters 4 when they entered administration, after all), and I wouldn't completely rule out a CryEngine 3 powered remake of TimeSplitters 2.
Yes if Crytek are interested (and they should be) your best hope would be Timesplitters 4. The only problem is a lot of the heads of Free Radical left before the Crytek buyout so it's not really the same team. Kind of like Obsidian, they are the closest you can get to Black Isle but they aren't the same.
