Close - 67 It was a sad day when Rick Wright died in 2008. Hope they can pull it together once more before they are all gone. At least we still have the Live 8 performance.

You deserve a permanent ban sir !
I hope he's coming to Europe this summer.
Another show or festival to go to wouldn't hurt.
I've seen Roger in 2006 in The Netherlands.
Great show and fortunately it was completely recorded by people in the audience at a
good quality.
That show was spread on live music sites.
At the ticket office it was fun to see a bunch of teenagers looking shocked at a big group of mostly 40+ people (I was 31 back than) who wanted to go to a festival.
Turned out that at the same time they started selling tickets for a rock/metal/alternative festival.
Most of those teenagers never heared of Roger Waters, some even never heared of Pink Floyd.
I'm already going to the annual liberation day festival with mostly national artists.
Top act I'll be seeing there is 'Bettie Serveert' on 1 of the smaller stages.
I'll also be going to:
Pinkpop, Pink is short for Pinksteren, the Dutch word for Whitsun, although this year it's not during the Whitsun weekend
Sziget, a 5 day festival on an island in a river in Budapest. Festival organizers in The Netherlands and Germany should take a look there how to organize a festival. By far the most relaxed and most international festival visitor wise I've been to. Unfortunately the full program isn't known yet.
