I'm trying to remember the title of a space RTS style game that I played a fair while back. If anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful to hear suggestions:
1) Games its not - This is not any of the following
Conquest Frontier Wars - Sins of a Solar Empire - Star Trek Armada series - Genesis
2) Details I recall:
Battles took place over a 2D battle field (much like those example games listed above)
Ships moved with a bit of sluggishness to their stopping and some objects put into motion would continue even after thrust was removed
You could build fixed defences and ships - some ships could tow others along - combined with the above point one tactic was to "throw" powerful turrets forward.
Ships were built from harvested resources.
It was released some time around the same era as Conquest Frontier Wars and was likely one of several riding the wave Homeworld made around that time in gaming.
Those are all the details I can remember; not much to go on I know.
