CDP Days 2011 Spring Conference has just finished and everything is clear now. If you haven't been able to tune in to watch the live stream, don't worry. We've prepared a quick summary of our presentation with a video recap for your convenience. So, let's not wait any longer.

At the very beginning we had to brag a bit about how awesome the service is doing, of course thanks to you - our great users. And then, suddenly, the lights went off, creepy moans started letting out from all over the place while The EnigmaticT tried to discern something in the dark with his flashlight.

Worry not, it was the announcement of Alone in the Dark, that comes with Alone in the Dark 2 and Alone in the Dark 3 as free bonus materials! This great series starts a new wave of Atari games that will be available in the coming weeks! And on 10th of May as the last game from Atari, we'll release The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut. What's even cooler we're going to have a special, time-limited offer that will give you a 50% discount, so the game will cost you only $4.99!

As we're on the subject of The Witcher, we had more cool stuff about its upcoming sequel on GOG.com. Starting on May 10, everyone who pre-order The Witcher 2 on GOG.com will be able to pre-purchase the game and download 90% of the build, so they can play the game on release day! So if you haven't pre-ordered the game yet, you'd better do that before May 16! More details on The Witcher deals can be found here.

Pre-downloading such huge game like The Witcher 2 is some serious business, and you'd need some serious downloader to do that. That's where the GOG.com Spring Site Update comes in! Late April we'll introduce a brand new, improved and slick GOG Downloader which will allow you to download all your GOG games fast and easy. What else? Personal messaging will be now possible for all our users!

But that's not all! At the very end, spotlight was on your favourite French Monk, who had some news regarding new publishers coming to the site. Microsoft, Electronic Arts, LucasArts, Take2 and SquareEnix - one of those publishers is already signed, while two more from the list are almost on board! Which and when is coming? Well, you'll have to wait a bit for that :)

You can watch the video recap of the presentation here. Enjoy!

Skystrider: 20 minutes gameplay! Yay! ^.^
no yay! spoilers!

I'll come back in 35 minutes ;)
I was sort of expecting the reveal to be anticlimactic, but not anticlimactic as in 60% of the community can't watch the livestream. I love GoG, but this...uh...this smells a bit like poor planning. Just a bit. A whiff.
Negotiator sword effective against monster, freezing enchantment, as well as a powerful jacket with high resistance towards three different elements.
OOoooh this is exciting! The Witcher 2 is looking up to be one the best RPGs of the year.
My connection hung and now it won't let me in... :(

iWi: Fear Not - there is no DRM on the GOG.com version - that's the only 100% DRM-free version. You will find out more in the GOG.com part, which will start right after the CDP Red's one ends.
Thanks for punishing me for spending $130 on your game via the collector's edition.
Levelling up using a radial system.

taczillabr: Atari published TW1, right?

Who is publishing TW2?
Namco, who bought out Atari's European operations.
hmm the game looks like devil may cry 4 a lot sweet :)
Skills having additional skills, using mutagens, adding new possibilities.
Really nice leveling up tree.

Looks like really nice UI too.
We have 40k ppl simultaneously watching and as we wanted to transmit it in HQ (480p) that's unfortunately the limit of the servers of our Streaming provider. We are recording the whole presentation and we will have the videos hopefully even tomorrow.

P.s. Keep on trying, as the traffic might go down and then you should be able to watch.
who cares about TW2 ?
Enhancing magical signs to put down multiple signs that create a gigantic area of effect.
It looks like I'll be finding out from you guys what's going on. So please don't start bullshitting about EA just to tease the rest of us. :P

I'm pretty sure I haven't seen you around these parts before, iWi. Yet you joined over a year before GOG went live?
