CDP Days 2011 Spring Conference has just finished and everything is clear now. If you haven't been able to tune in to watch the live stream, don't worry. We've prepared a quick summary of our presentation with a video recap for your convenience. So, let's not wait any longer.

At the very beginning we had to brag a bit about how awesome the service is doing, of course thanks to you - our great users. And then, suddenly, the lights went off, creepy moans started letting out from all over the place while The EnigmaticT tried to discern something in the dark with his flashlight.

Worry not, it was the announcement of Alone in the Dark, that comes with Alone in the Dark 2 and Alone in the Dark 3 as free bonus materials! This great series starts a new wave of Atari games that will be available in the coming weeks! And on 10th of May as the last game from Atari, we'll release The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut. What's even cooler we're going to have a special, time-limited offer that will give you a 50% discount, so the game will cost you only $4.99!

As we're on the subject of The Witcher, we had more cool stuff about its upcoming sequel on GOG.com. Starting on May 10, everyone who pre-order The Witcher 2 on GOG.com will be able to pre-purchase the game and download 90% of the build, so they can play the game on release day! So if you haven't pre-ordered the game yet, you'd better do that before May 16! More details on The Witcher deals can be found here.

Pre-downloading such huge game like The Witcher 2 is some serious business, and you'd need some serious downloader to do that. That's where the GOG.com Spring Site Update comes in! Late April we'll introduce a brand new, improved and slick GOG Downloader which will allow you to download all your GOG games fast and easy. What else? Personal messaging will be now possible for all our users!

But that's not all! At the very end, spotlight was on your favourite French Monk, who had some news regarding new publishers coming to the site. Microsoft, Electronic Arts, LucasArts, Take2 and SquareEnix - one of those publishers is already signed, while two more from the list are almost on board! Which and when is coming? Well, you'll have to wait a bit for that :)

You can watch the video recap of the presentation here. Enjoy!

iWi: We have 40k ppl simultaneously watching and as we wanted to transmit it in HQ (480p) that's unfortunately the limit of the servers of our Streaming provider. We are recording the whole presentation and we will have the videos hopefully even tomorrow.

P.s. Keep on trying, as the traffic might go down and then you should be able to watch.
Put the recorded on youtube, please.

Isn't the youtube.com/live working for everyone now? Why didn't you use that in case it's already available?

iWi: Atari is covering North America, Namco Bandai Partners in Europe (indeed it was previously Atari's European distribution network purchase by Namco), 1C/Softclub in Russia+CIS and we our sister company CD Projekt is covering Europe. We have several other partners in other countries.
What's your partner in Brazil?

Will you bring the collector's edition here? or just the regular edition?
To make up for negative potion side effects, they're oiling Geralt's sword.
1st of April mandolin reference ftw!
NOOOOOO!
The facebook one won't work either!

SLP2000: I hope there will be the possibility for (at least) Collector's Edition buyers to redeem a copy of TW2 on gog.com after some time (even after a year or more)

StingingVelvet: It's probably more likely they will just patch the DRM out of all versions eventually, like with the first game. Still, it feels like a slap in the face to release a lovely collector's edition and charge $130 for it, but then tell me I am getting the "wrong" version.
depends on what is your definition of "wrong"... hey, you can still play the game, right?
Sword just froze monster; throwing bombs available.
Sweet. Throwing bombs, day/night cycles with more monsters in at least some areas at night.

lackoo1111: who cares about TW2 ?
I care, really. But too much publicity kills the publicity. I was looking forward to TW2, but I'm starting to feel like GOG is trying to push it down my throat. And the effect of expectation is starting to change into some kind of saturation.
I thought we were waiting for a new (old) game release ! ! ! ! ! GOOD & OLD & GAME !
Not MLGNYRG (Most Likely Good Not Yet Released Game).
Demonstrator is getting boned by monsters.
would it help if we all watching the stream switched to LQ (I've done it already) so that more people could watch?
Ok... Take my money plz.
Certain enemies explode when low on health.

I'm getting CE mainly because of exclusive DLC, plus some stuff from the box.

I'm pretty sure the physical copy having DRM was known way in advance.
